Parzania, Touching

Parzania(the link to the last part of movie)... What do I say about this movie, awesome, wow!!!, a real movie, thought provoking... nothing I say would do justice to this one. I dont think I can put this one into any specific category or a genre.. a well-made movie which I am sure is not going to a blockbuster 'cos it cannot compete with the masala movies out there, but it has touched me in a way nothing else had in the recent time. Inspired by a true story, supported by some terrific performances, it really made me sit back and wince in pain at the mindless acts of people with some vested interests. However, it just depicts one aspect of it all and not the complete picture or whole series of incidents which might anger one section of people for not showing the other side of the coin... but kya farak padta hai?? One group or the other, it is the life of a human being that is in question!!!

To even think it is not fiction or a fragment of some one's fertile imagination but something which people have gone through gives me jitters.. How safe are we out there in the society?? I still remember the fear after communal riots in Hyderabad and to just think about these little children and people who must have been scarred for life witnessing such acts is depressing.

Incidents like this are what we read in newspapers, watch in TVs, discuss over tea, lunch, or dinner in a group and just forget it and get on with our lives. So much for the Big Words like Secular, Socialistic, Democratic, Republic!!!!! What can I do to make this world a better place... this burning desire to do something should surely take a solid form in due course!!! Truly a movie for select multiplex audiences, it did leave an impact on me.

A movie which is made and maybe forgotten even by the makers.. one good thing about the movie though is the good Hindi conversations, well I call it good Hindi because of its poetic touch and usage and the reason that I had to scratch my head at various times trying to figure out what they were trying to say. It was good to listen to though :). The concept of a wayward wife, extramarital affair, out-of-wedlock kid, wife desperately trying to breakup due to the guilt of the whole thing and the extra-sugary sweet husband trying all the ways to keep the marraige going is something which did not go with my system.. it is a good attempt at trying to depict the high society situation here but for me...a BORE.

Kshanikam... maybe termed as the worst movie of the century... had seen it the desivideos.net portal and that is the biggest mistake to have committed... the hero.. yukkk!!!, the story yukkkk, the songs yuk, yuk, yukkkk....

DO NOT EVER TRY TO WATCH THIS ONE EVER!!!!

This is one movie of the new genre that kind of kept my interest till the very end.. a telugu movie with a not-so-good-looking hero and heroine and some well-known character artists scattered in the script. It all seems predictable to the very end, like any other old story but then finally turns out to be something else...

Some different story with a similar script throughout, predictably unpredictable.. if you have loads of time on hand and nothing to do like me, you can watch it.
